FIELD: composite materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to development of epoxy compound with nanofunctional products of silifil plants treatment for production of high-strength heat-resistant composite materials with application in various industries: aerospace, automotive and shipbuilding, construction, paint industry, as well as for production of various articles from composite materials. Disclosed is an epoxy compound which includes an epoxy anhydride mixture with a filler in the form of nanosized particles, which contains an epoxy diane oligomer of ED-20, a hardener – iso-methyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride (iso-MTHA), polymerisation reaction catalyst – 2,4,6,-tris(dimethylaminomethyl)phenol, filler in form of nanoparticles of biogenic silica, characterized by specific surface area of 240–260 m2/g, total pore volume – 44 cm3/g, average pore radius – 8.29 A, obtained from vegetable raw material, wherein epoxy anhydride mixture and filler are taken at ratio, wt %: epoxy anhydride mixture 90–99; nanoparticles of biogenic silica 1–10.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increase in heat resistance, ultimate tensile strength and modulus of elasticity.
