FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for foreign body removal and surgical treatment of esophageal injury. When esophagoscopy is performed, esophagoscope advancement is controlled visually and palpatory from an operating wound. Esophagoscope is moved in a distal direction to a perforated opening and a foreign body. Removal of foreign body is carried out through esophagoscope with aid from side of wound. Foreign body is oriented in the longitudinal direction of the esophagus, and the defect is closed with strengthening with grafts cut from the omohyoid or subaconial muscle or a lower constrictor of the pharynx, or preproductive fascia.
EFFECT: method enables preventing additional esophageal injury, providing reliable perforation closure.
