FIELD: blasting operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to blasting operations of ice cover destruction. Device includes a housing, a device for fixation on the ice surface and an initiation system. Cumulative charge and, above it, penetrating module with explosive high-explosive charge are installed in the housing on one axis. Penetrating module is connected with the accelerating unit, which drives it. Distance h between cumulative charge and penetrating module is determined experimentally or by calculation. It is possible to fill the space between the charge and the penetrating module with a layer of material which absorbs energy of the shock wave. Distance h in this case decreases. After the command is sent to the initiation system, the cumulative charge pierces the ice in the ice, and the penetrating module moves under the action of the accelerating block along the formed blast hole, and after penetration under ice at the specified blasting depth its charge of explosive is initiated. As a result of explosion there is destruction of ice cover and release of pieces of ice from destruction zone.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce labor intensity, and also to increase safety and efficiency of works on destruction of ice cover of reservoirs.
