FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed are a composition for reducing or eliminating allergen Fel d 1 from the environment, a method of producing said composition, a method of reducing or eliminating allergen Fel d 1 from the environment and a filler for cat lavatories. Composition contains at least one protease which reacts with Fel d 1 and decomposes allergenic epitopes on Fel d 1, in an amount suitable for decomposition of Fel d 1 sufficiently, where at least one protease is a serine protease derived from subtilisin B. licheniformis. Also disclosed is a method of producing said composition. Said composition may be used in a method for reducing or eliminating allergen Fel d 1 from the environment and in a filler for cat lavatories.
EFFECT: invention provides effective reduction or elimination of allergen Fel d 1 from the environment.
