VIDEO INFORMATION DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR A MOVING OBJECT Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G09F19/22 G09F9/33

Abstract RU 2706249 C1

FIELD: image forming devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and apparatus for creating dynamic and static images for advertising or other purposes, demonstrating amusement and other information. System comprises a plurality of linear emitters perpendicular to the viewer movement, performing the image formation from the memory module, synchronizing the speed and the display technique with the speed of the viewer movement relative to the emitters; modules – rulers are fixed on both tunnel walls at uniform distance from each other with an interval of, for example, 1 meter, height of modules – lines and their arrangement corresponds to qualitative survey from windows of subway train, providing illusion of full coverage, for example from 1.5 meters and more, number of elements illuminated in each line, depends on carrying capacity and quality of video, which is planned to be displayed. Device of line module comprises housing 5; synchronization device 6; control device 7, which may include microcontroller / microprocessor, network module, high-precision clock, memory (not shown in figure); interface 8 for light-emitting diodes; LEDs 9; power supply unit 10. Network module is connected to a microcontroller or a microprocessor (not shown), which controls the entire device. Train synchronization device 6. Several versions of synchronization of an image with an object passing by are possible. In some cases, synchronization is not mandatory at all. In the case under consideration in the subway tunnel, synchronization is not mandatory, but is desirable. Various methods can be used for synchronization – starting from different light implementations with measurement of speed of movement, ultrasound, high-frequency radiation in radio-wave range and other methods. Synchronization technology may be optical, laser, infrared beams (infrared laser), ultrasound or any central control. There can be different versions of synchronization. Synchronization can be static. For example, in the case of an autobahn – all move at a certain speed – not less than some, and based on this paradigm, it is possible to display an image. Not oriented and not synchronized exactly for each passing. Focusing on average speed of movement. Microcontroller / microprocessor (not shown) controls the sampling device from random-access memory (video stream sampling), which is sent to the video stream interpretation device (on the line itself). Speed of the video stream may vary depending on the speed of the passing car in a wide range.

EFFECT: technical result of using the invention is that the disclosed system does not contain mechanical moving elements, highly reliable and resistant to any external effects (moisture or other); modules do not contain moving parts and do not require regular maintenance; non-contact synchronization, since contact with car is not required, as a result, synchronization is more accurate; possibility of operatively and remotely changing output information; information can be changed very quickly; as light-emitting elements we can use light-emitting diodes or semiconductor lasers or other means of light generation.
