SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric contacts having teeth with unequal edges. Socket electrical contact comprises a seat housing having a base forming a longitudinal axis, and teeth extending from the base at points located at a distance along the base circumference. Teeth move away from the base in the direction of the axis forming a zone of receiving the pin between the teeth. Each tooth comprises two opposite edges having different lengths and a blunt end.
EFFECT: technical result is increased normal contact force and reduced peak voltage.
