FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: igniting module for use in a gas device comprises a main body configured to be rigidly mounted on the surface of the gas instrument, a battery compartment, interacting with main body and made with possibility of holding battery in it in its operating position with negative contact of battery located at height lower than positive contact of battery, when main body is installed for operation on gas instrument, besides, battery compartment includes part of battery access, made with possibility of operation with it for selective access to battery compartment, wherein main body comprises one or more mounting components of module, made with possibility of their use for installation of main body on vertical surface of gas device such that the first end of the battery compartment, comprising the battery access portion, is located at a height below the opposite second end of the battery compartment, wherein either said one or more mounting components of the module comprise a first mounting leg of the module and a second mounting arm of the module, wherein the thickness of the second mounting arm of the module is greater, than thickness of first mounting tab of module, and specified thickness is measured from installation surface of corresponding mounting legs of module, or corresponding one or more mounting components of module have front end and rear end, note here that said front end has thickness larger than that of rear end and can be arranged horizontally on vertical surface.

EFFECT: invention simplifies installation and minimizes harmful effect of potential contaminants.
