FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the fields of veterinary medicine and medical equipment, in particular to a method for multiple sampling blood in a mammal and a surgical instrument, and can be used in conducting pharmacokinetic, pharmacological and toxicokinetic studies. Method for multiple blood sampling in a mammal is characterized by introducing a blood sampling device into the blood vessel having an internal blood drainage channel. After sampling each blood sample, the device is left in a blood vessel and blocking the formation of a blood clot in the lumen of the device by reversibly overlapping the above inner canal of the blood sampling device in the vessel, and for selection of each next sample said channel is again opened. Device for multiple blood sampling in a mammal has a portion inserted into the blood vessel and consisting of an elongated body having a through internal channel for blood discharge from the body. Device also includes a separate locking part-plug corresponding to the shape and size of the inner channel of the body, capable of reversibly covering said channel, isolating it from blood supply.
EFFECT: inventions prevent the thrombosis clogging the internal cavity of the blood sampling device without using anticoagulants.
