FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to wound covering with prolonged therapeutic action. What is disclosed is a wound coating containing metal particles having biological activity with respect to a pathogenic microflora deposited on the base by magnetron sputtering in a vacuum chamber. As metal particles, it contains silver nanoparticles of 99.99 % with average size not exceeding 0.05 mcm; silver nanoparticles are applied on the substrate by magnetron sputtering in a vacuum chamber at temperature below 0 °C, where as a base a napkin made of cotton fiber with an admixture of viscose fibers is used.
EFFECT: invention provides faster wound healing due to higher activity of metal nanoparticles and sterility of coating and coating material itself.
