SUBSTANCE: invention relates to navigation and can be used for automatic control of aircraft landing, correction of inertial navigation systems at launch position during take-off. Method of determining coordinates of an aircraft relative to an airstrip is based on receiving two spaced apart digital cameras signals of at least three laser beacons with known coordinates, not lying on one straight line and installed on the runway. Performing subpixel processing of digitized images taken from photomatrixes, resulting in determining coordinates of centers of brightness of images of laser beacons and calculating coordinates of laser beacons relative to aircraft, using which a matrix of guide cosines, orientation angles and coordinates of the aircraft relative to the runway are calculated.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of measuring parameters of aircraft position.
