SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the vehicles. In the method of predicting the operation of a vehicle, the identity of the user of the vehicle is established; tracking vehicle operating parameters for each journey; storing data collected during tracking for that user; establishing and storing normal operation patterns based on stored data for that user; determining the current normal operation scheme taking into account the vehicle user, one or more operating parameters and stored normal operation patterns; current routine operation scheme is used to forecast vehicle operation during current trip. Data on the predicted operation of the vehicle over the current journey are also used to improve the vehicle battery charging, to supply the reducing agent to the device for additional treatment of exhaust gases of the vehicle and engine control in order to regenerate device for additional treatment of exhaust gases of vehicle. Method is realized using an electronic computer system.
EFFECT: user intervention is not required.
