SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design and production of mechanisms and machines and can be used in production and restoration of bearing assemblies of various configurations. Device for attachment of bearings on shaft comprises expanding sleeve with longitudinal connector, external cylindrical and internal conical surfaces, and its system of movement into gap between tapered shaft surface and lower bearing ring cylindrical surface, the latter consists of tensioning screw that holds tensioning disc with separator ring and balls inserted therein, retaining nut and locking ring. Required degree of bearing tension is set by value of axial movement of expanding sleeve or angle of rotation of tensioning disc, and its contact with expanding bushing occurs through separator with balls.

EFFECT: creation of device for attachment of bearings on shaft, in which there is no need in special equipment and removal of shaft with bearings from working zone.
