FIELD: separation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to publishing industry, namely, to application of distribution system of periodicals and newspapers to process of daily returns. System comprises input module; scales; separating module for parts formed by five belt conveyors; a sorting unit formed of three lines of rotary sorting devices, each of which has twelve outlets or boxes; central control personal computer; control system with programmable logic; and central computer system. System for performing function of daily returns of printed publications comprises: a sensor located between the input module and the weights and configured to recognize the barcode and therefore the publication; trays arranged in alternating order relative to twelve outputs of the first line of sorting devices; accumulators or bins located sideways from the system and in accordance with each tray, into which the returned publications fall; sensor, which performs function of reservoir or hopper capacity checking; and supporting plate of sensor.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the system functional capabilities.
