FIELD: electric power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: mast power plant-compensator of reactive and active power of overhead power transmission line comprises generator mounted on vibration resistant support generator connected to overhead power line via controlled disconnector with air line parameters monitoring unit, gas internal combustion engine, devices for control and monitoring of overhead transmission line parameters, generator switch and gas supply valve. Generator used is asynchronous motor-generator with squirrel-cage rotor, and support of vibration-stable design is U-shaped and has additional controlled disconnector for separation of overhead power line to first and second sections, between which there is a power unit comprising a vacuum contactor with an electromagnetic drive and cosine capacitors parallel connected to windings of a stator of an asynchronous motor-generator. First and second power transmission line sections are connected in normal operating mode by means of closed contacts of vacuum contactor, and at peak loads through cosine capacitors and stator windings of asynchronous motor-generator for series compensation of reactive and active power with automatically started control unit of electric power station by signal of unit for monitoring parameters of voltage of internal combustion gas engine. Parallel connection of cosine capacitors and stator windings of asynchronous motor-generator to first or second section of network through the first or second vacuum disconnect switches-load breakers arises at the signal of the operator through the remote control unit of the electric power plant for activation of the gas internal combustion engine and opening of the contacts of the vacuum contactor.

EFFECT: improved reliability of power supply, as well as quality of electric power supplied to agricultural consumers and their safety.
