METHOD FOR IVF IN THE PRESENCE OF UTERINE MYOMA, DEFORMING ITS CAVITY Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B8/08 A61B17/425

Abstract RU 2707059 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynecology, and can be used for ECF in the presence of uterine myoma, which deforms its cavity. On 19th–21st day of the menstrual cycle, peristaltic uterine activity is determined in transvaginal ultrasonic examination. For at least 20 minutes, a submucosal layer of myometrium of the sagittal section of the uterine body is visualized by placing the sensor along a longitudinal axis of the uterine body. Average number of peristaltic waves per minute (W) in the analyzed area and the total number of fundocervical waves (F) are determined. If B is more than 2.8 waves/minute and F is equal to or more than 20 % of total number of recorded waves, myomectomy is performed. After expiration of rehabilitation period, completed with regeneration of myometrium, in vitro fertilization is performed.

EFFECT: method provides increasing the number of successful implantation of embryos when performing IVF in a woman with uterine myoma, which deforms her cavity, by refining indications for myomectomy by objective assessment of uterine peristaltic activity.
