FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to test equipment, to investigation of high-speed impact phenomena, in particular, to barrel-type propulsion plants for performance of experiments on impact-wave loading of analyzed samples during investigation of their dynamic strength properties. Proposed unit comprises hammer arranged in its acceleration barrel, barrel adapter, vacuum chamber connected on side of acceleration section, vacuumizing system, receiving base for installation of analyzed sample, which is an element of vacuum chamber, in which registration means are also installed, which are necessary for conducting research in accordance with required technique. Vacuum chamber is made of easily destructible under action of impact loads of material, barrel adapter connects barrel with vacuum chamber. Receiving base and the vacuum chamber housing are made as a single structural element. Free end of chamber is closed by detachable cover, and receiving base divides total volume of chamber into two parts. Pump for connection with vacuumizing system is made in adapter, and in receiving base channels are made for connection of two chamber volumes.
EFFECT: broader operational capabilities of the plant, simplified maintenance and experiment.
