FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition intended for production of pressure pipes. Composition contains a random copolymer of propylene and ethylene, which has a melt flow rate determined in accordance with ASTM D1238 at 230 °C and with weight of 2.16 kg, less than 1 g/10 min, content of soluble in xylene substances, measured by wet method, less than 7 wt. % and content of ethylene from 3 to 5 wt. % of copolymer. At that, Konig value B per % mm of triad measured on xylene-insoluble fractions of random copolymer and obtained by wet method is greater than or equal to 92.
EFFECT: pipes made from the composition demonstrate high resistance to prolonged action of pressure.
