FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used for diagnosis and therapy in urology in renal disease. What is presented is a method for differential diagnostics of pyelonephritis and assessment of degree of their severity, consisting in laboratory blood tests, indicators of oxidative status of blood in the following attributes: malone dialdehyde – X1, acylhydroperoxide – X2, superoxide dismutase – X3, catalase – X4, blood plasma cytokine spectrum as follows: IFNα – X5, IL – Iα – X6, IL – 6 – X7, IL – 8 – X8; IFNα- X9; IL – 10 – X10; IL – IRA – X11; functional-metabolic activity of peripheral blood neutrophils as follows: activity and intensity of phagocytosis X12, activity of oxygen-dependent systems – X13, by which functions of belonging to classes serous pyelonephritis μSP(Xi); purulent pyelonephritis μPP(Xi); and a class of transient serous form into suppurative pyelonephritis. Further, according to membership value, confidence in serous pyelonephritis (US), purulent pyelonephritis (UG) and transient class of conditions (UP) is determined using iterative formulas.

EFFECT: invention provides higher quality of differential diagnosis of pyelonephritis with the possibility of quantitative assessment of severity of acute forms.
