FIELD: astronautics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering and relates to a method of assembling internal heat and sound insulation of a head fairing of a carrier rocket. Method comprises assembly of unit by successive application of glue method on inner surface of head fairing by applying polyurethane based on polyester P-2200, facing fabric AZTs, on which is glued aluminum foil, forming three-layer packages, which on cylindrical part of head fairing installed with the same thickness, and on conic part of head fairing packages are installed in staggered order of variable thickness with linear dimensions of each side of packets greater than or equal to half the length of resonance sound wave λ/2. Joints of foil glued on AZTc fabric are metallized between themselves and metal parts of head fairing by application of current-conducting enamel, on which aluminum foil strips are applied. Completely assembled packages of heat and sound insulation on head fairing are perforated by punctures.

EFFECT: invention provides improved characteristics of heat and sound insulation, as well as increases operational reliability, which is provided by a structural set of layers of the package of heat and sound insulation.
