FIELD: construction material industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to production of cellular fillers for three-layer panels and shells used in various fields of industry (aviation, space, ship-building, radio engineering, furniture making, automobile, etc.). Technology implies pilot production of cellular fillers with different shapes of cells. According to method, used in formation of row of cells in cellular filler are rods in the form of mandrels not connected to each other. In formation of first row, preliminarily applied to sheet blank is gluing strip of width equal to width of cell side. Placed on it are blank of cellular filler material and first mandrel used for pressing blanks to each other in glue application zone. After wrapping of first mandrel with blank of cellular filler material, successively installed are other mandrels of row. Preliminarily applied to sheet blank are gluing strips in zone of its contact with blank of cellular filler material. Each mandrel after being installed is wrapped around with blank of cellular filler material and it is pressed to sheet blank by corresponding mandrel. In formation of subsequent rows of cells, used as sheet blank is flat intermediate sheet or surface of preceding row of cells. Gluing pressure is applied after formation of rows of cells and assembling them into cell unit. After that, ready cell unit is cut into cellular panels. Additionally, after cutting rolled material into bands, stepped cloth is made by gluing bands along rolled cloth, locating them over its width at pitch equal to double width of cell side of cellular filler. Then stepped cloth is cut in perpendicular to longitudinal axis of cloth into blanks of cellular filler material in the form of stepped sized sheets. In formation of cell rows, sections of stepped sized sheets with glued bands are located between parallel planes of two adjacent mandrels. Single sections of sized sheets are located below lower and on upper planes of mandrels. After manufacturing of stepped cloth, holes or grooves are punched in it from both sides along edges. Assembled cellular unit is placed into heating furnace to ensure thermal mode required for gluing. Then cellular unit is cooled to room temperature and mandrels are removed from it. This procedure allows for use of various types of mandrels to manufacture corrugated stepped sized sheets, and for producing cellular filler from single cloth. EFFECT: high efficiency. 10 cl, 41 dwg
