FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: holder contains cylindrical housing with through stepped hole, in which damping element is installed. Through stepped hole includes two holes with larger and smaller diameters. At that, smaller diameter hole is intended for internal supply of lubricating-cooling liquid to cutting zone, and hole of larger diameter is intended for installation of damping element in form of insert from non-metallic material. Damping element can be made in the form of a cylinder reamer.
EFFECT: decreased self-generated oscillations.
