FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: holder of boring head or milling arbour is equipped with damper composed by elongated body. The latter is arranged in cavity at tool holder end appropriately shaped and sized an closed at its one end with tool intake case (4). In compliance with this invention, proposed damper absorbs solely the radial forces. Said damper is equipped with at least one elastically strained element nearby at least every end. Note here that said elastically strained elements are arranged between said damper and tool holder cavity wall and clamped there between. Ends of said damper stay free in the seat.
EFFECT: decreased vibration at cutting.
