SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for destruction of sea targets in remote areas and can be used for remote mining of remote areas. For remote mining, the self-transporter mine is prepared for launching, the route task is entered into its on-board control system and its movement is controlled to the specified point. Mine is maneuvered in the specified area in accordance with the task and the mine is moved into a combat state, and retaining it at a predetermined recess and in a predetermined location by circulation of the minimum radius until the enemy ship triggers. Replacement of minefield area is performed or mine production is canceled. Mine is eliminated or returned to the specified search area, where it is lifted and transferred into a safe state. Delivery of mines to the specified area is carried out using a controlled cruise missile, the mine is remotely controlled, for this purpose it is additionally equipped with a remote control system, which includes a radio-buoy, radio-buoy is separated from mine at specified point and lifted to water surface, and radio communication with control point is established through air or space retransmitter. Mines are connected with radio-buoy on fiber-optic cable, which safety during mine movement is provided by unwinding cable from two coils placed in mine and radio-buoy. If necessary, radio-buoy are flooded.

EFFECT: quick installation of controlled maneuverable mine barrier in sea area.
