PLANT GROWING METHOD ON DESERT AND NON-FERTILE SOILS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A01G9/00 A01G31/02

Abstract RU 2707520 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to growing plants in self-contained devices. Method involves using a nutrient substrate with seeds of plants, which is placed in a container of biodegradable material containing sidewalls with perforation, a bottom and a cover. Removable film coating is placed on the outer surfaces of the side walls and the bottom of the container. Container bottom is perforated to accommodate waterproof material layer. Cover is made in the form of panels pivotally installed along perimeter of side walls of container and equipped with detachable elements for fixation of said panels in vertical position. For growing of plants as waterproof material there used is polypropylene fiber in form of waterproof material of geotextile below growth of root system of adult plant. Perforated polyethylene pipe with spiral shape is laid from above. Each concentric circle of the pipe controls a separate zone, within the zone of the spiral end is connected by means of a vertical riser in the form of a vertical polyethylene pipe, which is connected to a water supply source, and other free end of perforated pipe is plugged with plug. Surface of water perforated pipe with helical shape is covered from above with second water-permeable material of geotextile, ends of their layers along perimeter in plan of laid water pipe of spiral shape are fixed with suture in stages to form closed cavity. From above layer of solid pellet of manure from pigsty or poultry manure, or sapropel, or peat is laid from above, after their production with preservation of all nutritional components of natural origin for introduction into soil and containing nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus. Further, the surface of one of the products made of a nutrient is covered from above with a uniform polymer layer in the form of granules of the sorbent with its further swelling and water absorption, after which fertile soil is laid on the surface with the possibility of gas exchange from soil and seeds are sown. At that, fixed volume of supplied water is provided with the help of counter made in the form of water flow measurement unit.

EFFECT: method increases intensity and length of formation of a strong root system of a plant and increases viability with simultaneous protection of seeds and sprouts from damage factors.
