FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of test equipment, in particular, to technical acoustics. Sound generation method is based on modulation of compressed air flow throttled through valve assembly with variable intrinsic oscillation frequency consisting of coaxially arranged cylindrical shells with identical system of slots. At that, change of natural frequency of modulator is performed by change of rigidity of its elastic suspension, and movement of modulator is performed due to spaced apart propulsors. Proposed device comprises tight antechamber accommodating filter and slit air modulator. Modulator comprises an electromagnetic vibration drive connected to the excitation unit, a valve unit with movable and fixed concentric perforated cylinders, as well as a neck connected to the modulator output. Device also contains an elastic suspension of the modulator with variable rigidity and a control mechanism of initial position of the modulator and rigidity of its elastic suspension. Electromagnetic vibro drive consists of several electromagnetic propellers connected with excitation unit.
EFFECT: wider frequency range of generation of sound waves, reduced weight, high efficiency of cooling, low consumption of current.
