FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to encapsulated polyhydroxyethers used as fire-resistant film materials and protective adhesive coatings, adhesives, membranes with high performance characteristics. Method of producing capsulated fire-resistant polyhydroxyether is carried out by synthesis of polyhydroxyether of following structure:

where m=55–145, with molecular weight of 38–99 thousand precipitation polycondensation reaction between tetrabromophenolphthalein and epichlorohydrin in water-isopropyl alcohol medium in the presence of CNF nanocarbon and its subsequent encapsulation by a continuous process without steps of removing polymer from the reactor, drying and mechanical grinding, by treating solutions of polyesters in chloroform with aqueous solution of apple pectin with stepped rise of temperature from 20 to 63 °C, diluting the reaction mixture with water at 45±5 °C, wherein quantitative ratio of components of synthesis reaction corresponds to: tetrabromophenolphthalein 0.05 mol; sodium hydroxide 0.0575 mol; nanocarbon CNF 0.008 g; epichlorohydrin 0.05 mol; isopropyl alcohol 65 ml; distilled water 65 ml; apple pectin 0.5 % – 250 ml; chloroform 150 ml, followed by production of non-sticky, granular, non-dusting spherical shape polyhydroxyether particles.

EFFECT: obtaining a new fire-resistant encapsulated polyether with good adhesion to aluminum, water-resistant and alkaline aggressive media and with sufficient fire-resistance properties.
