FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to copolyhydroxyethers based on 3,3'5,5'-tetrachlorobisphenol A and 1,1-dichloro-2,2-di-(4,4'-dioxy)-phenylethylene, which can be used as film materials with improved values of fire resistance, heat resistance and mechanical properties. Said copolyhydroxyethers are compounds of formula where n = 55÷72.
EFFECT: providing copolyhydroxyethers having improved fire resistance, heat resistance and mechanical properties, good solubility in polar solvents and film-forming properties.
