FIELD: radio equipment.

SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to radio engineering and can be used for protection against air and space radio monitoring equipment. Said result is achieved by selecting I satellites relay adjacent to the used (RS) having similar characteristics, determining the coordinates of the earth station (ES) and the I selected RSs, the direction of these RSs, calculating the distance between the ES and the RS, the value of the interference signal required for emitting power in the direction of each RS, I additional antennas are oriented in the direction of the corresponding RS, and as active masking interference there used are different delayed pseudorandom law and ES-optimized signals. Device for active radio ranging of ES location comprises splitter, unit of buffer stages, I-channel radio transmitter, unit of directed antennae, a pseudorandom sequence generator, a unit for calculating signal power, a communication distance calculation unit and four input buses with corresponding links.

EFFECT: provision of difficulty of determining the earth station (ES) location.
