FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. A method for screw fixation of C1 and C2 vertebras is characterized by that at least one incision is made on the anterior surface of the neck and access is made to the upper cervical vertebra. Lateral weights C2 vertebra and C1 vertebrae are interconnected through the incision by a pair of intersecting cannulated screws directed at acute angles to planes of joints C1 and C2 vertebrae with threadless part of screws for C2 vertebral body location.
EFFECT: method provides minimally invasive and dynamic compression between connected fragments.
