FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to neurosurgery and traumatology, and can be used when performing the fixation of C1-C2 vertebrae in injuries and diseases of the craniovertebral junction. Intraoperative radiography of the cervical spine is performed. The trajectories of transarticular fixation in the lateral projection and in the direct projection are formed on the radiograph according to a certain algorithm. The fixing pins are installed in accordance with the obtained trajectories.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to perform transarticular fixation of C1-C2 without direct visualization of the screw insertion point, reduce the risk of screw malposition and damage to the vertebral artery.
