FIELD: hydropower.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydroelectric power industry, namely, to chain-type hydroelectric power plants. Hydroelectric power plant comprises series-connected cardan type unit 8 turbines made in the form of cylindrical floats with fixed with working blades 7. One end of hydroelectric power station line is connected to rotor of generator. Hydroelectric power plant is made floating, free-flow and located along the bank along the stream. Floats are made in the form of hollow cylindrical shafts 1 with working blades 7 and are equipped with hubs 6 with rods coaxially installed on shafts 1 with rods to which partially filled hollow rims 4 are attached. Each rim 4 is equipped with valve 5.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing efficiency of a hydroelectric power plant using slowly flowing water.
