FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology, functional and ultrasonic diagnostics, and is intended for evaluation of the right mass of left ventricular myocardium. Information on individual's field, age is obtained. Height and weight are measured to calculate body surface area according to the Dubois and Dubois formula. Taking into account the obtained data, the individual left ventricular myocardial weight values are determined individually for each patient according to the original formula in individuals aged 15 to 65 years. Any digital value within the range of ± 48.4 g from the calculated MM LV is taken as the normal left ventricular myocardium mass value.

EFFECT: method enables obtaining patient-specific values of left ventricular myocardial mass and determining deviation of actual values of the index obtained from echocardiography from physiological norm by taking into account individual anthropometric, age and gender values using a mathematical formula.
