FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to manufacturing of contact parts of magnetically controlled sealed contacts (reed relays), and can be used in their industrial production. Method of making contact elements of sealed reed switches comprises forming a flat contact part from a wire made of iron-nickel alloy by mechanical means, to create regular microrelief on surface of contact parts, contact parts are etched in heated to 60 °C in hydrochloric acid for 1–5 minutes, as a result on surface of contact parts a microrelief is formed with arithmetic mean deviation of profile (Ra) from 0.08 to 0.16 mcm, and annealing is carried out in dry hydrogen atmosphere at maximum temperature equal to 920°.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improved quality of manufacturing reed switches by improving operational parameters, namely: high strength of junction of contact elements of reed relays and reduced tendency of contact parts to sticking.
