FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to a method for impregnating insulation of electrical machines with periodic pressure changes and a device for its implementation, and can be used in making windings of electrical machines. Proposed method provides higher efficiency of process of impregnation of windings of electric machines (EM) with insulating material by application of vibration-oscillation method of impregnation of insulation of electric machines with periodic change of pressure and device, which is achieved by alternation of four phases: 1) impregnation at atmospheric pressure in impregnating chamber, 2) impregnation at pressure below atmospheric pressure, 3) impregnation at vibration action, 4) impregnation at pressure in impregnating chamber above atmospheric pressure. Disclosed also is a device for implementing a vibration-oscillation method of impregnating insulation of electrical machines with periodic pressure changes. Proposed method provides increase in the inter-turn space filling factor to 0.75…0.95 and improvement of the breakdown voltage value by 2–3 times, which is of great importance for increasing the insulation durability.

EFFECT: increased reliability and service life of EM insulation.
