FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical machine building, particularly, to production and repair of electric machines (EM), for example, polymer insulation of fingers of brackets of brush holders. Insulating pins (2) in amount of 12 pieces are screwed into carrousel conveyor. Conveyor (1) starts to rotate evenly and in automatic mode all three cycles are performed. In the first cycle, infrared radiators (3) are automatically switched on and heating of uniformly rotating fingers (2) is performed before impregnation. After the heating cycle is completed, infrared emitters are automatically switched off and nozzles (4) for supplying impregnating material are switched on uniformly rotating fingers. After impregnation cycle of insulating pins (2) is completed, nozzles (4) are automatically switched off and infrared radiators are switched on to perform drying cycle. At end of cycle of fingers drying conveyor stops.
EFFECT: as a result of application of carousel method of impregnation and drying of polymeric insulation of fingers of brackets of brush holders by means of infrared radiation are reduced in 2…3 times power consumption and 1,5…2 times time for process operations on impregnation and drying of fingers of brackets of brush holders.
