FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a vehicle lighting system. Device for illuminating a vehicle comprises a retractable handle assembly, a light source, a light-emitting section and a retractable step in connection with the rear door of the vehicle, having a corrugated portion. Retractable handle assembly comprises a proximal end portion in communication with the rear door and forms an internal passage therethrough from the proximal end portion to the distal end portion. Light source is located near the proximal end section and is configured to emit the first radiation through the inner passage. Light-emitting section is located on the handle section and can output light received from the first radiation. Retractable handle assembly is configured to output light corresponding to the first radiation and illuminate the portion of the corrugated portion.
EFFECT: improved quality of outdoor and work lighting is achieved.
