SUBSTANCE: invention relates to current collectors of vehicles. Trolleybus current collectors drive contains rods the ends of which are pivotally fixed on the base rotary relative to the vertical axis, which is placed on the fixed support on the trolleybus roof. At that, each of rod pantographs is equipped with vertical alignment pneumatic cylinder. Drive is equipped with horizontal alignment pneumatic cylinder, two pre-stretched springs, rod position sensors relative to current distributor, receiver, electropneumatic distributor, actuator and pneumatic cylinder control unit. At the same time the horizontal alignment pneumatic cylinder rod is connected to one end of the lever retainer, the other end of which is connected to the pneumatic cylinder of its locking. In the middle part of the retainer there is a projection conjugated in the extended position of the rod with a recess corresponding to it in form and formed in a stop plate attached to the base. At that, the drive is equipped with two pneumatic hooks of rod pantographs, which consist of a frame, a hook, a pneumatic cylinder and a rod relay.

EFFECT: increased reliability and safety at rod coming off the wire.
