FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing polyprenols, which are natural bioregulators, from neutral extractives of coniferous softwoods, represented by soft conifer softwood concentrate. In the proposed method, the soft provitamin coniferous concentrate is hydrolyzed with an alcohol solution of alkali, water and hexane are added to the obtained mixture, mixed, settled and a solvent is distilled from the hexane fraction, then wax is extracted from obtained fraction, for which fraction is once treated with acetone, heated and cooled to temperature of 5 °C, wax is separated by filtration, a solvent is distilled from the filtrate and the main part of terpene compounds is extracted from the obtained product, for which it is dissolved in 82–85 vol% ethyl alcohol, heated, then cooled to minus 5 °C and decanting alcohol, obtained product without waxes and terpene compounds containing polyprenol concentrate, is introduced onto a chromatographic column with silica gel and successively extracted with 96 % ethyl alcohol and acetone cooled to 5 °C, then solvent is distilled from acetone fraction.
EFFECT: polyprenols are recovered with purity of more than 95 %, and the end product yield is equal to 10–18 % of the initial amount of conifer deficit provitamin concentrate.
