SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gender specific nutritional compositions and feeding systems containing them. Nutrition system contains one gender specific synthetic nutritional composition for a male infant aged 1 to 2 months and one gender specific synthetic nutritional composition for a female infant aged 1 to 2 months. Arginine concentration is selected on the basis of the established concentration of arginine in breast milk produced for an infant of the same gender and age. Concentration of arginine in the synthetic nutritional composition for a female infant is higher than in the composition for a male infant, and wherein the arginine concentration when selecting for a male infant ranges from 47.4 to 78 mg per 100 g, and when selecting for a female infant - from 78.22 to 142.3 mg per 100 g.

EFFECT: invention provides optimized gender specific nutrition for infants.
