SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gender specific synthetic nutritional compositions for babies up to 1 month old. Feeding system contains at least one gender specific synthetic nutritional composition for a male infant aged under 1 month and at least one gender specific synthetic nutrient composition for a female infant aged under 1 month. Total protein content is selected based on total protein content found in breast milk produced for an infant of the same gender and age, wherein the gender specific synthetic nutritional compositions are intended for infants of the same age. Total protein content in said gender specific synthetic nutritional composition for male infants is higher than in said gender specific synthetic nutrient composition for female infants. When selecting total content of protein for a male infant it ranges from 1.3 to 2.3 g per 100 ml, and when selecting total content of protein for a female infant it is from 0.2 to 1.295 g per 100 ml.

EFFECT: invention provides optimized nutrition for infants depending on gender.
