SUBSTANCE: present invention discloses a method of managing banknotes. Method comprises steps of: obtaining, identifying and processing banknote features using banknote information processing device, so as to obtain information on banknote feature; transmitting information on the banknote feature, service information and information on the banknote information processing device jointly to the main control server; and by means of the main control server processing the received information and classifying banknotes. Also disclosed is a banknotes management system for a method of managing banknotes.
EFFECT: method according to the present invention can improve reliability of identification, while maintaining speed of operation, thereby providing accuracy and practicality in real use.
