FIELD: furnaces.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of aspiration of a dust-forming equipment of a blast furnace foundry. Method involves removal of dusty air from each unit of equipment, acting on it by rarefaction, through side suction into collector-collector, from which coarse fractions under the effect of gravitational forces are deposited in process vessel, and fine dust fractions are fed for further post-treatment and their separation from air in hose filters, and to increase initial speed of air flow, over sources of dust release – cast iron and slag tap holes, air knife is installed with guiding device, by means of which distribution of dusty air is cut to working zone of casting yard and directed to side suction. Air knife guide device is made in form of several versions: in form of several rows of round holes with diameter of 10–20 mm, in form of several rows of rectangular holes with size of 15×85 mm with overlapping of air jets, or in the form of several rows of rectangular holes with width of 10 mm inclined at angle of 30–60°, mm with overlapping of air jets.
EFFECT: optimization of operation mode of the aspiration system, minimization of material costs for its implementation and power consumption during its operation, increased degree of aspiration gases cleaning.
