SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to blast-furnace production for regulating the system for collecting and removing gas flows, and helps to clean the working air and the environment. The shelter complex of the main duct of the blast furnace contains an umbrella designed to be installed above the main duct of the blast furnace. The umbrella contains a frame with two lateral vertical posts, which are placed on opposite longitudinal sides of the main duct. The side racks of the frame are equipped with wheels placed on rails laid outside along the main duct at a distance from it, which provides placement between the rails and the main duct of the mechanism for sheltering/closing the taphole of the blast furnace, the umbrella is installed with the possibility of controlled movement along the rails and is equipped with a counterweight and a drive that provide hold the umbrella in position. At the same time, the counterweight is located on the side of the umbrella, which is the most remote from the tap hole of the blast furnace. The height of the umbrella is chosen from the condition of ensuring communication of the umbrella with the gas duct of the blast furnace aspiration system at the closest position of the umbrella relative to the tap-hole.

EFFECT: convenience of operation of the blast furnace aspiration system, reduction of dimensions and simplification of the design of the blast furnace aspiration system.
