FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; a blast furnace casting yard.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to blast-furnace production and may be used at projecting, building-up and renovation of blast furnaces. The installation contains a placed on the columns foundation of the blast furnace casting yard made in the form of two floors. On the second floor there is the working site of the casting yard with one or more main chutes with the metal shell and the multilayer lining including the layers made out of a filling or packing refractory mass and a hot-metal-slag separator, the transport chutes for cast iron and slag, landers and devices for tapping and closing of the metal tap holes and relocation of the covers of the main chutes. On the ground floor there are seats of the main chutes and there are exhaust gas tap pipes of the aspiration system. The exhaust convergent tubes of the gas-taps of the aspiration system in the areas of a gas and a dust extraction are arranged horizontally. The aspiration system is supplied with the electric filters, the radial exhaust fan and the system of automatic control of the fan productivity within the limits from 300 000 up to 900 000 m3/h depending on the stage of exhaust. The chute has length from 11 up to 18 m, and width of its shell from the side of the hot-metal-and-slag separator makes 2600-3200 mm. Utilization of the invention ensures an increased degree of purification of the gases released in the aerosphere and an improvement of the working conditions on the casting yard.
