FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of optical brighteners used to intensify whiteness and which can be used to mask yellowness and impart brightness or high whiteness to plastic masses, synthetic resins, synthetic fibers, paints, pigments and enamels. Method of producing composite bleach includes grinding and mixing a solid carrier based on natural or artificial minerals and an organic optical bleach. Carrier and bleach are ground and mixed in working chamber of one or several in-series installed rotary-inertia mills with shear force of 10–50 N at shear rate of 10–100 m/s.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of bleaching.
