FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a vulcanization activator and versions of a method for preparing a vulcanization activator. Curing activator includes: zinc oxide in amount of 10–90 pts.wt, fatty acid of general formula CH3(CH2)nCOOH, where n=10–20, or CH3(CH2)nCH=CH(CH2)nCOOH, where n=5–10, in amount of 0.5-3 pts.wt. and solid carrier – balance. Method for obtaining a vulcanization activator involves grinding a mixture of a solid carrier, zinc oxide and a fatty acid of general formula CH3(CH2)nCOOH, where n=10–20, or CH3(CH2)nCH=CH(CH2)nCOOH, where n=5–10, in working chamber of rotary-inertial mill with shear force of 10–50 N at shear rate of 20–100 m/s with further mixing in centrifugal-elliptic mill with acceleration of 10–50g. Method of producing vulcanization activator includes: solid carrier is subjected to grinding in vertical mill, then mixed with zinc oxide and fatty acid from a row with general formula CH3(CH2)nCOOH, where n=10–20, or CH3(CH2)nCH=CH(CH2)n COOH, where n=5–10, with treatment of mixture under action of impact forces in rod mill at collision rate of 50–230 m/s.
EFFECT: simplified process due to no need to extract activator from aqueous solution of polymer surfactant and recuperation of latter; improved indicators of vulcanized rubber.
