METHOD FOR REMOVING ODOR OF VENTILATION EMISSIONS FROM INDUSTRIAL PREMISES FOR KEEPING PIGS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC B01D53/34 F24F7/00 A01K1/00 C05F3/00

Abstract RU 2708599 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and ecology and can be used in industrial livestock sector, mainly in swine breeding for reducing emission of odoriferous substances from industrial premises for keeping animals and producing organo-mineral fertilizers based on pig manure, waste sulfuric acid and phosphorite flour. Method for removing odor of ventilation emissions from industrial premises for keeping pigs includes treating manure drains in manure baths 30÷40 % sulfuric acid solution until pH 4.5÷5.0 is achieved and successive irrigation in gas ducts of air removed from rooms first with 2 % sulfuric acid, then 2÷3 % solution containing sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite in ratio of 1.0:1.5÷2.0. Used reagents are utilized together with manure wastes. Reagents used are industrial wastes of sulfuric acid and alkali solution of sodium hypochlorite formed during chlorine production by electrolysis of sodium chloride solution. Manure drains are neutralized with phosphorite flour and processed into granulated organic-mineral fertilizers.

EFFECT: invention enables to reduce the concentration of odor-forming substances, including toxic substances in air, for animals in average 1,5÷2,5 times, eliminate odor of ventilation emissions from corresponding rooms, reduce toxicity of manure drains, possibility of processing pig manure in a granulated organo-mineral fertilizer containing a complete complex of macro- and microelements required for plant nutrition.
