METHOD FOR PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC CORRECTION OF NEUROSES Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61M21/00

Abstract RU 2708783 C1

FIELD: psychotherapy.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to psychotherapy, and can be used to correct a condition of persons suffering from various forms of neuroses. That is ensured by a course of complex psychotherapeutic exposure, the length of which is determined on the basis of the results of the reaction to the moving object (RMO) assessment conducted before the course of the complex psychotherapeutic treatment and in the process of complex psychotherapeutic treatment. Complex psychotherapeutic exposure includes: receptions of art-therapy, using methods of visual creativity, implemented in group and individual sessions; methods of body-oriented psychotherapy (BOP) aimed at eliminating associated muscular and emotional stress; psychopharmacological therapy selected with due allowance for leading psychopathological syndrome. Frequency of occupations of art-therapy and BOP is chosen taking into account type of neurosis. In case of neurasthenia, group sessions on art-therapy are performed once a week, individual art-therapy sessions – once a week, BOP – twice a week. In case of obsessive-compulsive disorder, group sessions on art-therapy are conducted twice a week, individual art-therapy sessions – twice a week, BOP – once a week. In case of hysterical neurosis, group sessions on art-therapy are performed once a week, individual art-therapy sessions – twice a week, BOP – once a week. Reaction to the moving object (RMO) is evaluated by presenting to the patient an object with a clock face with a marked mark and a point object configured to move along the circumference. Value of ratio of average value of errors of delay to average value of errors of lead is calculated, thus obtaining value of Y. In case if dynamics of change of values of Y in three adjacent measurements RMO tends to one, course of complex psychotherapeutic effect is completed. Otherwise, the therapeutic course of complex psychotherapeutic treatment is continued.

EFFECT: method provides longer periods of maintaining the positive effects of the psychotherapeutic effect by training the patient to conscious control of psychic self-regulation, active counteracting the disease, that is caused by reasonable determination of individual duration of the therapeutic course of psychotherapeutic exposure on the basis of RMO patient, as well as original complex of psychotherapeutic effect.
