FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely psychotherapy and rehabilitation, and can be applied to psychogenic disorders, such as adaptive reactions, emotional disorders, psycho-vegetative, psychosomatic, and neurotic disorders. Somatic-focused psychotherapy (SFP) is performed, including corporal trance practices and complex of psychophysiological exercises. At that, diagnostic part is first conducted, including psychological tests, psychophysiological practices for objective detection of SFP target symptoms in terms of testing, such as anxiety, psycho-emotional stress, prevailing excitation processes, vegetative dysfunction, on basis thereupon psycho-educating part is conducted, when easily understandable explanations are suggested of psychological and physical symptoms origin, of psychological principles concerning body blocks according to V. Reich, as well as SFP action mechanisms are explained for elimination of these symptoms. Then step-by-step, psychocorrective part is performed applying group method. First stage involves somatic transe practice to suggest ball image moving along entire body, relaxing all muscle groups in order to establish contacts with own body, until patient can study relaxation. That is followed by course with suggesting support as resource condition. Second stage involves complex of psychophysiological exercises in order to fix upon one's own sensations, carried out successively "top-to-down": for periocular muscles, neck muscles, thoracic girdle, diaphragm area, abdominal prelum, gluteal muscles, and thigh muscles. Each exercise is performed to reduction or complete relaxation of muscular rigidity and body blocks, at that, verbal suggestion of support state is conducted before exercise complex. Final psychophysiological exercise is executed lying flat upon floor with stretching extremities in time with breathing. Each session is completed with description by participants their conditions, and then repeated diagnostic part for controlling psycho-vegetative status of patients' bodies.

EFFECT: method increases efficiency of psychotherapy for psychogenic disorders by detecting SFP target symptoms and executing complex of psychophysiological exercises.
