FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a magnetic resonance system for examining a patient with a movable patient holder. System comprises a study area, a magnet for applying a static magnetic field in the examination area, a patient support with a support surface, a RF antenna having a fixed geometrical relationship with the support surface, wherein the patient holder is movably installed in a direction transverse to the support surface, wherein the magnet has a support frame and is provided with a bridge element mounted on the support frame and movably in a direction transverse to the support surface, and the bridge element supports the patient's holder, the magnet is a cylindrically shaped magnet with a gap in which the examination area is located, wherein the jacket elements are provided between the bridge element and the gap inner wall or between the patient's holder and the gap inner wall.
EFFECT: use of the invention improves adjustment of the patient's position in a static magnetic field.
